“Embrace the Suck”, brings back a lot of memories, for me, from the 10 1/2yr’s I served, as a US Marine!. “The Suck”, was a rather colorful way, of referring to the Marine Corps, many of the nonsensical things/demands, that were required/placed upon us, along with the mental-physical pain, often associated with achieving the desired results.
“Embrace the Suck”, is really a good way, of saying “accept the challenge, the pain, let it become part of your very being.
Once you do that, one’s confidence level, goes right through the roof, and you not only believe that you can accomplish anything, you hunger for the opportunity to do so!
As soon as I saw this shirt, I knew I had to have it.
I embraced it, welcomed it, and because a better Marine, a better person, and even at 71yr’s of age, I know that I CAN accomplish anything I set out to do.
Thank you for the opportunity, to write this post.
